NCA transports relief goods to Chengdu for victims of the Sichuan Earthquake
Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President Tadamasa Ishida) operated a chartered flight from Kansai International Airoprt to the Chinese city of Chengdu on Saturday, June 21, to transport relief goods to victims of the recent earthquake in Sichuan. NCA deployed "NCA Pegasus" Boeing 747-400F.
The organization that chartered the flight from Japan is an arm of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, which administers relief and aid.
The relief goods included 50 tons of bottled water and 540 tents, weighing about 70 tons. NCA extends its sympathy to the victims of the disaster and prays for a swift recovery of the region
