NCA transports racing cars for the INDY JAPAN
First flight from Indianapolis lands at Narita International Airport on April 12
Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Tadamasa Ishida) has transported 32 racing cars and technical and engineering equipment from Indianapolis to Narita International Airport. The cars will take part in the INDY JAPAN 300 Mile race, scheduled to be held between April 17th and 19th at the Twin Ring Motegi racing circuit in Motegi-machi, Tochigi Prefecture.
The first flight departed Indianapolis airport on Friday, April 11, and landed at Narita International Airport on the evening of Saturday, April 12. The vehicles were quickly and carefully unloaded through the nose cargo door. The technical and engineering equipment arrived aboard the second flight the following day which were transported by land to the race venue, Twin Ring Motegi.
The final race in the series is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 19th. With limited time before the next race on the schedule, the vehicles and associated equipment will be flown back to Indianapolis from Narita International Airport on April 21.
