NCA Obtains ISO 14001 Certification

                                      Further Strengthens Environmental Efforts

 

On January 25, 2009, Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA, Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Tadamasa Ishida) was awarded ISO 14001 Certification for all its domestic offices (Head Office, Tokyo Office, Narita Airport Office, Kansai Airport Office, Central Japan Airport Office and NCA Japan) and covering all business areas, including flight operations, maintenance and engineering and air cargo transportation services. The certification was awarded by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited (LRQA), a prestigious assessment agency.

NCA is the first airline in Japan to receive the ISO 14001 Certification for all business areas and every one of its domestic offices.

Based on the ISO 14001 Certification, NCA has pledged to further improve and strengthen its environment management systems and enhance its efforts and activities to preserve the environment.
