NCA’s fuel surcharges for international air cargo departing from Japan effective June 1, 2009

Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo: President Tadamasa Ishida) filed an application on May 8 with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to revise its fuel surcharges for flights departing from Japan.

In line with the new scheme, the next fuel surcharge of NCA effective June 1, 2009 will be set as follows according to the average price of the benchmark jet fuel (MOPS =Mean of Platts Singapore) for the month of April 2009, USD59.10/BBL.

1. Price application:
                TC1 (mainly North America and Latin America): JPY37/Kg
(Increased by JPY7 from May 1, 2009)
                TC2 (Europe, Africa and Middle East): JPY37/Kg
(Increased by JPY7 from May 1, 2009)
                TC3 long haul (TC3 excluding the following): JPY31/Kg
(Increased by JPY6 from May 1, 2009)
                TC3 short haul (Hong Kong, China and Korea): JPY26/Kg
(Increased by JPY5 from May 1, 2009)

2. Effective date: Beginning with the AWB issued on June 1, 2009
