NCA resumes flight operation between Narita and New York
Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA, Headquartered in Tokyo; President: Tadamasa Ishida) will on May 13, 2009, resume flight operations to and from New York. The route was temporarily suspended in August last year. The first flight will depart at 22:30 from Narita International Airport bound for New York. NCA operates the only cargo flight service between Japan and New York and flights will depart twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays).
Despite the severe condition of the international air cargo market, we have decided to resume flights on this route in response to strong demand from customers, both in Japan and the United States. We will continue to provide our customers with high-quality transportation services built on flexibility and mobility.
