service in the future. The hangar incorporates a range of environment-friendly measures that go well beyond the basic requirements of an aircraft hangar. In order to facilitate maintenance operations, which are often carried out during the day due to the nature of the air cargo business, the hanger has a wide range of ecological features that contribute to environmental conservation. These include a design that enhances the natural light inside the structure, a highly efficient natural ventilation system, the use of rainwater to wash fuselages and a green roof.
