NCA’s fuel surcharges for international air cargo departing from Japan effective May 1, 2010

Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Narita-shi, Chiba: President Tetsufumi Otsuki ) filed an application on April 13 with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to revise its fuel surcharges for flights departing from Japan.

The next fuel surcharge of NCA effective May 1, 2010 will be set as follows according to the average price of the benchmark jet fuel (US Department of Energy) for the month of March 2010, USD87.54/BBL.

1. Price application:
TC1 (mainly North America and Latin America): JPY79/Kg
(Increased by JPY7 from current)
TC2 (Europe, Africa and Middle East): JPY79/Kg
(Increased by JPY7 from current)
TC3 long haul (TC3 excluding the following): JPY67/Kg
(Increased by JPY6 from current)
TC3 short haul (Hong Kong, China and Korea): JPY56/Kg
(Increased by JPY5 from current)

2. Effective date: Beginning with the AWB issued on May 1, 2010
