NCA’s fuel surcharges for international air cargo departing from Japan effective August 1, 2014

Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Narita, Chiba: President Fukashi Sakamoto) filed an application on July 4 with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to revise its fuel surcharges for flights out of Japan according to the average price of the benchmark jet fuel for the month of June 2014, USD120.83/BBL. NCA’s application to revise its fuel surcharges was approved by the Ministry on July 4 to take effect as of August 1, 2014.

1. Price application:
  TC1 (mainly North America and Latin America)                   : JPY128/Kg (Increased by JPY7)
  TC2 (Europe, Africa and Middle East)                                 : JPY128/Kg (Increased by JPY7)
  TC3 long distance (TC3 excluding the following)                  : JPY109/Kg (Increased by JPY6)
  TC3 short distance (Hong Kong, China, Korea and Taiwan)  : JPY 91/Kg (Increased by JPY5)

2. Effective date: Beginning with the AWB issued on August 1, 2014
