NCA's revised fuel surcharges for flights departing from Japan approved

Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President Tadamasa Ishida) filed application on July 4 from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to revise its fuel surcharges for international flights departing from Japan. NCA had filed an application for the revision on June 30, 2008. The new rates will take effect as of August 1, 2008, for flights to TC3 by area: short distance flights (Hong Kong, China and Korea) and long distance flights (all other TC3 destinations).

NCA will continue to make further efforts at the management level to reduce costs.

1. Price application :
                TC1(mainly North America and Latin America) : JPY135/Kg (unchanged)
                TC2(Europe、Africa、Middle East) : JPY135 / Kg(unchanged)
                TC3 long distance(TC3 excluding the following) : JPY115 / Kg
                TC3 short distance(Hong Kong、China and Korea) : JPY96/Kg

2. Effective date : Beginning with the AWB issued on 1 August, 2008
