NCA changed fuel surcharges scheme for international air cargo departing from Japan

Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo: President Tadamasa Ishida) changed fuel surcharge scheme for international air cargo departing from Japan. We will change the revise criteria of fuel surcharge from 14 consecutive days to the average fuel price of 1 month.

We will endeavor to reduce costs through further efforts at the management level. As a result of making the maximum efforts, NCA hopes to improve and enhance its cargo transport services and ensure continued safe flight operations

1. Effective date : Beginning with the AWB issued on 1 Apr, 2009

                                 (Current scheme will be applied until the revision of 16th March)

2. Revise criteria of fuel surcharge
     【New】
       ① The application date of revised fuel surcharge : 1st of each month
   ② The applied fuel price : The fuel surcharge which corresponds to the average fuel price for  

                         previous 1 month will be applied. (For example, The fuel surcharge for

                        1st Apr will be judged from the average fuel price for 1st Feb to 28thFeb.)

  【Current】
    ① The application date of revised fuel surcharge : 1st or 16th of each month
    ② The applied fuel price : If the fuel price is over or under 14 consecutive business days, the fuel

                         surcharge which is correspond to the fuel price will be applied.

                                                  The judging timing is previous month’s 20th for 1st of the month and 5th

                                                  for 16th of the month.
