With the new “i-Account” financial and administrative accounting system in

operation,NCA’s four-major system is at full strength

On July 13, Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Narita, Chiba, President: Tadamasa Ishida) put into operation its new “i-Account” system, which integrated the company’s financial accounting and administrative accounting systems. In early August, the first monthly accounting settlement was carried out and, on August 12, a ceremony was held to mark the system going into full operation.

“i-Account” employs an integrated package software (ERP6.0) devised by Germany’s SAP AG. Development started in December 2007, with the aim of meeting the needs of an international air cargo transportation business. NCA employed Toyo Business Engineering Co. Ltd. in the development of the system. Together with the three systems already in operation – i-Sky for flight operations, i-Macs for maintenance and i-Cargo for air cargo transport – this will be the fourth system which brings NCA’s fundamental systems up to full strength.
