In further response to security threats in Europe, the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) program has been intrcoduced and it will be expanded to Netherlands effective from July 1st, 2023. Air carriers must submit an air cargo data electronically to EU Customs prior to loading the cargo onto the aircraft destined to or transiting through the EU member states. Please find attached information be summited to us in a timely manner to respond to this program. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

1.　Effective date：July 1st, 2023. (Arrival flight at following EU member states)
*The effective date of ICS2 for Netherlands will be on July 1st. However, the Dutch Customs deployment period is applied from July 1st to July 31st, 2023. In order to check whether required Cargo data is reflected on NCA’s system, please start to send from June 23rd, 2023 once it’s ready.

2.　Applicable cargo：Any cargo destined to or transiting through the EU member states + Switzerland, Norway and Northern Ireland. (Excepted UK)
