    Handling of Lithium Metal and Ion batteries following Amendment of IATA Regulations (Amendment)

 

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation for flight safety.

The rules of Lithium Batteries Handling had been amended in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations 50th edition effect from January 01, 2009.
The IATA issued an addendum on December 23, 2008 and the guidance document on February 06, 2009.
In compliance with the addendum and guidance, NCA amended captioned "Handling of Lithium Metal and Ion batteries following Amendment of IATA Regulations (Amendment)" as attached below.
In the attachment documents, the amended items are highlighted in Blue.
