Transporation of Aircraft Lithium Ion Batteries
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation for flight safety.
The IATA issued an addendum to the 54th edition of the Dangerous Goods Regulations to exclude aircraft lithium ion batteries from special provision A51 to permit transport those batteries on passenger aircraft up to 35kgs.
In response to this addendum, we reviewed our handling procedure and decided not to accept such aircraft lithium ion batteries without advance arrangement. The acceptability of such aircraft lithium ion batteries is subject to the conditions.
It is therefore, for carriage of aircraft lithium ion batteries, please contact NCA's local offices in advance.
