NCA’s fuel surcharges for international air cargo departing from Japan effective July 1, 2009
Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo: President Tadamasa Ishida) filed an application on June 8 with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to revise its fuel surcharges for flights departing from Japan.
The next fuel surcharge of NCA effective July 1, 2009 will be set as follows according to the average price of the benchmark jet fuel (MOPS =Mean of Platts Singapore) for the month of May 2009, USD64.08/BBL.
1. Price application:
TC1 (mainly North America and Latin America): JPY44/Kg (Increased by JPY7 from June 1, 2009)
TC2 (Europe, Africa and Middle East): JPY44/Kg (Increased by JPY7 from June 1, 2009)
TC3 long distance (TC3 excluding the following): JPY37/Kg (Increased by JPY6 from June 1, 2009)
TC3 short distance (Hong Kong, China and Korea): JPY31/Kg (Increased by JPY5 from June 1, 2009)
2. Effective date: Beginning with the AWB issued on July 1, 2009
