Nippon Cargo Airlines (Headquartered in Narita-shi, Chiba, President: Tadamasa Ishida) filed an application with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to revise the Conditions of Contract printed on the reverse side of Air Waybills and NCA Conditions of Carriage and Conditions of Carriage by Charter Flights. Our application to revise limitation of liability was approved by the Ministry on December 24, 2009.

1. Background:
            Change of liability limits under the Montreal Convention 1999 from 17SDR to 19SDR required the revision

            of the Conditions of Contract printed on the reverse side of Air Waybills, NCA Conditions of Carriage

            and Conditions of Carriage by Charter Flights.

2. Effective date:
            December 30, 2009 (Beginning with the AWB issued on December 30, 2009)

3. Other informatio:
            The usage of Air Waybills which describes liability limits as 17SDR will be continued with the condition

            of applying revised IATA Resolution 600b (liability limits as 19SDR) until current stock has been depleted.

            Then, we will distribute the new Air Waybills.
            NCA Conditions of Carriage and Conditions of Carriage by Charter Flights were posted on NCA website
