Submission of Preventive Measures for Business Improvement Order to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism (MLIT)

Nippon Cargo Airlines Co., Ltd. (NCA), today submitted the preventive measures for the Business Improvement Order received from the MLIT on 20th July 2018, after analyzing the background, problems and factors that contributed to the issues.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that we caused our customers from the grounding of the aircraft and the suspension of the flights. We also apologize for the loss of trust as a result of the Business Improvement Order.

We will unite all staff and management to fully implement the Preventive Measures for re-starting a safe operation with a goal to “re-create NCA from ZERO”.

As of today, 2 aircraft (JA18KZ and JA05KZ) are back in operation, while the remaining 9 aircraft are still grounded for verification of maintenance records and airworthiness certification.
