Partial modification of China Customs regulations
Dear NCA Customers
NCA would like to inform you its partial modification to ensure a smooth implementation of the China Customs regulations.
Currently, SLAC pieces are subject to the number of pieces on the Advanced Electronic Presentation of Cargo information.
However, a local survey of this regulation finds that the "Actual Number" is considered appropriate for the number of pieces.
1. Date of implementation
This regulation will apply to all NCA flights to and via China effective February 15, 2010.
The first NCA flight this regulation will affect is KZ217/15Feb, 2010 (NRT/ICN/PVG)
2. Information on the EDI messages
FWB:
The Actual Number of pieces delivered to NCA should be entered in “The Air Waybill Consignment Details” line and the “Rate Description” line.
FHL2:
The Actual Number of pieces delivered to NCA should be entered in the “MBI” line and the “HBS” line.
Thank you very much for your attention and continued support of NCA.
