Request for Submission of Accurate Cargo Description Information under China Customs Advance Filing System
Thank you for your usual support extended to NCA.
We have identified cases where the cargo descriptions provided by customers do not meet the requirements set forth in China Customs Announcement No. 144 of 2019. Such cases have been confirmed by the Chinese authorities, and we have received formal warnings.
While we have previously advised that non-compliance may result in penalties, we have now been informed that administrative actions, including fines, may be imposed if the requirements are not met.
We kindly ask for your understanding of this situation and your continued cooperation in ensuring that accurate cargo description information is provided.

2. Requests:
For declarations to Chinese Customs, please provide specific cargo descriptions and avoid vague terms listed as “Non-Acceptable” in GACC Announcement No. 2019-144 (e.g., parts, samples, accessories). Please note that failure to provide accurate information may delay customs clearance and delivery at the destination and may result in fines.

3. In Cases Where Accurate Information Is Not Provided:
Please note that failure to provide accurate information may result in delays in customs clearance and delivery at destination, as well as the imposition of penalties.
4. Liability:
If penalties or fines are imposed on us by the Chinese authorities due to inaccurate information provided by the customer, we reserve the right to recover such costs from the customer.
